M. Kayhan Yıldırım, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Seed Union (TÜRKTOB), visited Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişci, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Affairs and AK Party Kahramanmaraş Deputy.
During the meeting, where views on the agriculture and seed sectors were exchanged, recent developments in the seed sector were also evaluated.
TÜRKTOB Chairman Yıldırım briefed Kirişci about the Asia and Pacific Seed Alliance (APSA) – Asian Seed Congress (ASC 2026), which will be held in Antalya in 2026 in cooperation with TÜRKTOB and TÜRKTED, and extended an invitation to the congress.
Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişci wished Yıldırım success in his new role and stated that the seed sector, which is a highly strategic industry, will always be supported.
