M. Kayhan Yıldırım, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Seed Union (TÜRKTOB), came together with Ferhat Çolak, General Director of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
During the meeting, current developments regarding the seed sector, the current state of the sector within the framework of foreign relations and foreign trade, and topics of cooperation were discussed.
At the meeting, the impact of recent international developments on input costs was also evaluated.
Yıldırım informed General Director Ferhat Çolak about the preparations for the Asian Seed Congress (ACS 2026), which will be held in Türkiye (Antalya) for the first time in its history between December 1-5, 2026, in cooperation with the Turkish Seed Union, Turkish Seed Industry (TÜRKTED), and Asia and Pacific Seed Association (APSA), and presented the congress invitation to him.
