Delegations, headed by Savaş AKCAN,the Chairman of the Board of TURKTOB and Prof. Dr. Necdet BUDAK, university rector, brought up the research and education activities in the seed science and technologies, meeting the regional, national and international R & D needs of the seed sector and finding solutions for the problems in this field.
At the meeting, exchanged views on issues such as R&D studies are oriented towards the needs of the private sector, development of new varieties suitable for market demands, sharing information and technical opportunities more effectively and decision has been taken to initiate cooperation between institutions.
TÜRKTOB board members Miktat OLGUN, Yıldıray GENCER, Ümit C. KURTULUŞ and Hurşit NALLI, and Dr. Muhteşem TORUN, Secretary General of TÜRKTOB were attended the meeting on behalf of the seed sector.

Prof. Dr. Gülsüm ÖZTÜRK, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz EROĞUL and Technical Manager Dr. Adem GÖKÇÖL participated the meeting.
